Yotam facilitates groups - usually leadership teams - through retreats, combining strategy work with group dynamics

Strategy and Group Work

Yotam’s approach is to weave together group work with strategy development. Our movements need good strategy in order to win - need to be able to dig to the bottom of the challenges we’re facing, get clear on their purpose, craft a coherent plan, prioritize, and say no to things. But groups need to be strong and healthy in order to craft good strategy and carry it out - need to be capable of entering into generative conflict, willing to be direct with one another about what is or isn’t working, and set up to invest in their relationships to work well together. Yotam sees the work of making strategy and supporting healthy groups to be deeply intertwined; he brings diverse experience, sharp insight, creative tools, and lots of steadiness and warmth to this work of supporting groups and individuals to become the most powerful versions of themselves, often staying with groups over many years and supporting the development of leaders over time. All of Yotam’s facilitation is tailored to the specific needs of each group, and at a sliding scale appropriate to that organization. He works with groups to find the right approach for them.

Some Of The Groups Yotam Has Worked With

“Yotam is deeply attuned to the emotional experiences of the group, is incredible at identifying the truth beneath the surface with rapid and sharp clarity, and isn’t afraid to draw it out. He takes groups through an experience where they feel in their body what they are capable of, where they have agency, and what is possible. I can’t even count the number of times Yotam has reached his hand in and grabbed on tight to exactly what needed to get pulled in me and my team, with such respect and delicacy, while also being so painfully agitational. Yotam isn’t just a facilitator - that doesn't capture it - it really is leadership development and transformation work at the highest level.”
