Yotam Marom is an organizer, facilitator, and writer based in Brooklyn, New York. He spends most of his time facilitation movement organizations through strategy and group processes.
Yotam was a leader at Occupy Wall Street, is a founding member of IfNotNow, and has initiated and participated in mobilizations, direct actions, and campaigns across issues, from immigration to climate justice to freedom and justice in Israel-Palestine, and more.
He was the founding director of the Wildfire Project, a training organization for grassroots organizing groups, and has facilitated in a variety of settings - from some of the leading social movement organizations in the US, to some of the biggest movement moments of the past decade.
On the side, Yotam reads good fiction, writes bad poetry, cooks great meals, and plays mediocre softball with a bunch of old men.
He loves being a dad, and his family is super cute.
Yotam has written about movement strategy in essays., and his book, For Louder Days: Reaching Beyond a Politics of Powerlessness (The New Press), is out in June 2026.
